Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, today recorded a moderate turn out of protesters.

 The protest which took place across the country is premised on the economic hardship bedeviling the country with the hashtag #EndbadGovernmentinNigeria.

The protests witnessed people from all works of life who converged at major roads in Ibadan.

Protester who spoke with Wellsradio 89.3FM articulated their demands and urged the government to look critically into the matters mentioned.

Additionally, there was heavy security presence all over Ibadan with security officials including Amotekun personnel, Police officers, civil defense officers among others were seen at several points throughout the city including the government Secretariat.

There was however, synergy between the security officers and the protesters with the protesters commending the security officers.

The endbadgovernanceinnigeria protests are scheduled to hold between August 1st and August 10, as protesters in Ibadan have vowed to continue protesting until the governments accedes to their demands.
