The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has ordered the reactivation of broken-down equipment at the passport offices in Atlanta and New York City.
Tunji-Ojo emphasized that the order was necessary following petitions from Nigerians in the diaspora about the need to fix broken-down passport equipment at the Atlanta and New York consulates.
According to the press statement released by the Minister’s Media Aide, Alao Babatunde, the Minister directed the Nigeria Immigration Service to deploy new printers to the passport offices in the Atlanta and New York consulate.
Babatunde disclosed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains committed to ensuring that Nigerians experience the Renewed Hope Initiative.
