The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has concluded the registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), with 2,030,627 candidates completing the process.
This marks an increase from the 1,989,668 candidates registered in 2024.
The examination is scheduled to commence on April 25, with an additional 200,115 candidates opting for the mock UTME on April 5.
JAMB also announced that the sale of Direct Entry (DE) forms would begin on March 12 for candidates holding degrees, diplomas, or A-Level certificates.
The board also warned applicants against submitting false information, stating that a special committee would verify all credentials, and fraudsters would face prosecution.
Institutions were also urged to verify certificates before granting admissions.
The board further emphasized that all registrations must be carried out at JAMB Professional Registration Centres.
