The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has commended protesters in Abuja, the nation’s capital, for shunning violence amidst nationwide protest, #EndBadGovernmentInNigeria.
Wike commended the protesters during the presentation of staff of office to the newly appointed graded chiefs In the FCT.
The Minister reaffirmed the Federal Government’s readiness to dialogue with the protesters, noting that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is taking necessary measures to lessen the hardship of Nigerians.
In a bid to call the attention of government leaders to the economic hardship in the nation, protesters in some states across the country took to the streets today, to protest against hunger and hardship in Nigeria.
However, despite the traction gained by the protest, some states have ignored the protests.
